Grain growers across northern NSW and southern Queensland can now source a snapshot of the latest winter cropping research addressing vital short term agronomic issues.
The Northern Grower Alliance (NGA) is carrying out the research which is funded by the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC).
The diverse NGA research program includes a range of nutrition, weed, disease and nematode trials planned or already underway and is outlined in the latest newsletter.
News includes snapshots of the 2012 winter trials, final results of the Weemelah root-lesion nematode trials, results from the awnless barnyard grass glyphosate resistance survey, and protocols for on-farm trials on soil testing for a deep fertiliser response.
