According to Alister Ferguson from the Organic Meat Company supply is good because producers are starting to move cattle; however by August supplies will tighten up.

Quality is good, weights are back slightly but that is typical of this time of the year. Rain was well received around the main growing areas in central Queensland.

The Aus dollar is back which works for exports to the US but we won’t see the benefits until it stays down for a while - 70% of the Company’s business turnover is in US dollars.

The Organic Meat Company exports to nine countries. Asia remains a small but steady market. Prices are steady.
